The Philippines, the ‘Pearl of the Orient’ among all the magnificent island nations in the Southeast Asia is indeed an impressive all island territory comprised of over seven thousand islands. History of the Philippines

Alexander III of Macedon has been credited for exploring the Philippines during his trade with China, India and other neighboring South East Asian countries. There are historical notions that once powerful kingdoms filled with residents known as the Rajahnate of Cebu and the Sultanate of Sulu were located here.

After over 300 years of Spanish colonization, the Philippines had short American and Japanese occupation. It got its independence in 1946 and modern India is a democratic country.
